Whether your dog is young or old there's no getting away from the fact that some dogs just prefer a studio environment to running around outside for their dog photoshoot, maybe they have health issues, aren't able to be let off the lead for whatever reason or maybe they just love to be pampurred!
We have loads of props, comfy chairs, collars and accessories for you to borrow when you come to my purpose built, dog friendly studio in Romsey so we can tailor your studio dog photoshoot to you in anyway you like!
Hi, I'm Helen & this is Mash!
Whenever I pick up the keys to go into the studio Mash is right by the door following me out because he knows that going to the studio means scrummy treatos (and even if I'm not photographing him he still manages to twist me around his paw and snaffle a few of the studio treats!)
Mash has taught me how to have lots (and lots!) of patience and that's such a fabulous skill to have when photographing dogs in the studio! He's also taught me how to communicate with dogs, how to notice when they're not 100% happy & how to read the signals they're giving out in response to our actions.
He's also taught me that there is literally nothing better in the world that belly rubs and walking through the door at the end of the day to a wagging tail!

One thing is for sure, we always only use positive rewards when asking your dog to do something and we always leave plenty of time for your photoshoot so we can get the best from them without being rushed.
Once you've booked your dog's photography shoot, I send out our carefully crafted welcome pack which includes loads of information for a calm and relaxed photoshoot (& of course treatos for your doggo!)
Your dog's studio photoshoot
IWhen you come to the studio as soon as you're through the gate the garden is totally enclosed so you're free to let your dog off their lead to explore.
When they're ready we'll take the time to introduce them to the studio and props and get comfortable in the new surroundings.
It's only after this that I'll start to take photos, We take it slow and everything I do is based around positive reward based trining techniques so you know your dog is having the best time in their puppy photoshoot!
I love to include humans in some of the photos too so make sure you're on your best behaviour so you don't let your dog down!
Heart melting moments
After your studio dog photoshoot we'll arrange a time to bring you back to the studio to see all of your edited images and help you choose your favourites.
